A look at the “greatest outdoor show on earth”, Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Alberta.
Video Rating: 4 / 5
Parade and rodeo is fun but try enjoying the midway at night..you cant. If you go at night its people drunk and fighting.
Alberta to Canada is like Texas to the United States.
@lhartnett123 Yes really, you make it sound like that’s a negative. United States … really?
According to your channel you like hockey, yeah? The NHL wouldn’t be anywhere if it weren’t for Canada and you know that buddy. Just saying.
@lukesmall1 I wonder if you decided by now. I’ve been living in Ontario for a few months and I miss Calgary like craaaazzy. Its a great city my friend!
“Calgary stampede has put a small city in Alberta on the map”? Calgary is the largest city in Alberta, and the around the 4th or 5th largest city in Canada (due to it’s success in the oil and gas industry). A million people doesn’t compare to some of the worlds larger cities. But that’s definitely not ‘small’
I’ve lived in Calgary for near 14 years and never once attended a Stampede Parade,but mostly just because I was always working when they were going on.Not only that,I’d have to get up so early just to go downtown and make sure I had a decent enough spot as well even when I had the chance to go.
@GamesNshiet i go every second year, it’s a nice experience but i gotta agree with you, i wanted to buy a taco and guess how much??……………$8.00
@lukesmall1 I personally hate living in Calgary. The snow removal system is really shitty, environmental protection is the same quality, and it’s the most conservative city in Canada. Good luck if you’re liberal, NDP, or Green party. I’m a lesbian, left-wing environmentalist. Guess how much I want to get out of here?
I live in Calgary its so awesome here
@SuperIzzybelle Because it’s one of the greatest rodeos in the world.
But I really want to run this rodeo one day! As well as the daddy, Cheyenne! And I love Canada, and this is coming from an American! I’m jealous of all of ya’ll who live there.
I live in calgary and i go every year. Frankly though, i do not see why its the greatest outdoor show on earth..
@lukesmall1 I have lived in Calgary all my life, It’s a great city, and we have the Rockies so close by. The mountains and the rest of southern Alberta have some of the most beautiful places on earth. Living here will take some getting used to, but it’s wonderful. I hope you like hockey…the Stampede rules the city in July, and the Flames dominate the winter!
To lukesmail1 ; Calgary is a great city to live in lot of work ,it’s cold in the winter but you will get to it , the summer is great the city turns into a cowtown for two weeks and it’s a lot of fun and this is comming from a black guy .Plus there is always Banff if you need to get out of the city for the weekend
To you calgarians/canadians, I live in a shitty town in england and wanna leave SOON. I’m thinking canada, would you suggest calgary?
@andrewneedsalawn 1.3
@PeterOnoLennon agreed, a highschool in the south west of calgary ( E.P. Scarlett) has one of the best psych programs in canada.
@ElishevaKoreem When I was five I got lost a the stampede haha
im not in calgary right now but i was born there and lived there for a long time. were in vacation right now but i ive been to the stampede aboat 5 times.
Canada though…like really
you know we dont wear cowboy hats all year long. its just for the stampede, tourists and when you feel like wearing it. also its not “a small city” we have more than 1 million people… including me
I’ve bin twice and it was awesome. I hope to go back again nxt year
@pspboy7 1.2 million
i only go to talk to the cute cops. clearly, i need to get a life! or is it ok for me to want to talk to them since i like them? is it just me or does anyone else go for only ONE thing ???? :
